The Orange Crush built their lead a few runs at a time in a 7-1 victory over Los Panteras on Wednesday at Norbrock.

Black got on the board in the first inning after Corbin Armstrong grounded out, scoring one run.

Jordan Wolfe hit a sacrifice fly, which helped Orange tie the game at one in the bottom of the first.

Orange captured the lead, 3-1, in the bottom of the second after James Arko grounded out, and Mike Gilfillan singled down the left field line, each scoring one run.

Orange added one run in the third. Clay Cartie singled to center field on the sixth pitch of the at-bat, making the score 4-1.

Travis Unsworth earned the win for Orange. The hurler allowed four hits and one run over five innings, striking out six and walking none. Mark White took the loss for Black. The hurler went three innings, giving up four runs on seven hits, striking out two and walking three.

Armstrong went 1-for-3 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in. White led Black with two hits in three at bats. Connor Rowland stole two bases. Black turned one double play in the game.

Orange tallied nine hits in the game. Wolfe and Gilfillan were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in two runs for Orange. David Denison led Orange with two hits in four at bats. Gilfillan paced Orange with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, piling up eight walks for the game. Dylan Lowey stole three bases. Orange stole six bases in the game. Orange turned one double play in the game.
