Drafting Rules & Player Movement
Players entering the draft must remain in the draft pool and are not to be “poached” by teams before draft night.
Expansion (3.5) and team-to-team movement (3.4) rules from 2024 were reviewed and unanimously retained for 2025.
2025 Expansion Confirmed
The board has approved the addition of a new team, to be led by Kiesten Evans.
Streaming, Scoring & Game Stats
Streaming of games will continue via Facebook.
- Other options were examined for streaming, but the decision was made to table this discussion until a later date/next year.
GameChanger will be used for scoring and statistics in 2025
- This replaces iScore from previous years and should provide for smoother reporting of scores and stats on the league website.
- Player-submitted stat corrections must be sent by formal email. If you notice a discrepancy in the stats, please contact the league. All decisions are final after board review.
End-of-Season Awards
After several rounds of discussion, three new awards have been approved:
- Best Batter
- Best Pitcher
- Volunteer Award
- Execution will be led by John Hollstedt and managed via the GameChanger stat stream.
Additional future awards (e.g., Most Improved, Rookie of the Year) were discussed but tabled for now.
Operational Updates
Bank signatories updated to reflect current board members.
A waiver will now required for pickup players before joining a lineup.
The League Rules & Policies document received a formatting update and is now posted on the website.
The 2025 AGM is scheduled for October 19, 2025 at 7 PM. The AGM has been scheduled earlier this year to allow the next board more time to discuss and implement plans for 2026. More details will be shared as the date approaches.
